Is defensive duelist worth it1/5/2023 I feel like some kind of defensive perk is necessary. Besides, with 4 FAT per strike, the only thing draining his FAT is actual moving. Most of my other guys have it, so it feels weird when my assassin of all people falls behind. Executioner is nice to have, but, again, maybe it isn't worth it without CS? So should I take one of these, or both, or none at all? My previous dagger bro had both, along with Fast Adaptation, but he lacked in defensive skills and stats (that one was a thief, not an assassin tho). The dilemma here is whether or not CS is an overkill? I mean, he inflicts injuries reliably enough as it is. Unless it's Lindwurms or Unholds I'm facing, the sheer amount of armor piercing damage pretty much guarantees an injury. If I ever find a better assassin, I'll skip on Overwhelm and take Fast Adaptation, definetely. As long as high priority targets are kept under control. Then again, I already picked Overwhelm (now I kind of regret this decision), so maybe it doesn't matter if he misses all the time. Not nearly enough to land reliable hits on things like blade dancers, swordmasters, and enemy champions in general. With any luck, it will be 90 at level 11. This kind of armor piercing damage combined with fearsome can make an orc warlord flee after a couple hits.Īs for my perk-related conundrum, I am torn between these: The bro himself is either following a mace-shield-tank bro to deal deathblows whenever someone gets stunned, or goes for assassinating enemy champions and such. Damage is 30-45 base + double grip bonus. Armor piercing bonuses are 36% from a dagger + 25% from duelist. With dagger bonuses it takes 4 FAT for a regular stab, and 6 FAT for a deathblow. Since he isn't, well, amazing stat-wise, I'm having troubles picking the last three perks. The company just wasn't the same until I found a decent enough assassin to fill the gap. My last one got himself surrounded by barbarian chosen and died to bleeding.
